Mouse Recording exists to provide an outstanding service in capturing acoustic audio from ensembles and solo artists. We specialize entirely in capturing acoustic instruments in "live spacious" environments. While predominant throughout the Phoenix, Arizona Community, we are entirely mobile and service clients around the world. While the company Mouse Recording has been formally known since 2005, our roots go back much farther.

To provide our clientele with the best recordings possible, our research and education is never ending. We are constantly evaluating and updating our hardware inventory with the best equipment we can find. Everything we use is specifically selected for its superior quality and sonic characteristics that compliment the sound we are capturing. Beyond the equipment, we are constantly researching and learning recording techniques from around the world. We have found many techniques that are not considered standard, yet they yield superior results.

As part of our ongoing study in to the arts and sciences of recording, we consistently have our recordings critiqued by respected band and orchestra directors so that we make sure we are always performing at our best.

Dan Malone, Mouse Recording’s Owner and primary engineer has been professionally recording large ensembles and solo artists since 1997. From those humble beginnings Dan has spent over two decades studying and learning the arts and sciences of recording audio. As a performer Dan studied Percussion from his 5th grade elementry school days through out his college days and beynd. Dan is currently a member of the Audio Engineering Society and The Grammy Foundation.

Michael Markowski, composer/engineer, has brought much talent to Mouse Recording. As a composer of ensemble music, Michael knows exactly how to get what he is looking for in a recording. Michael’s works have been performed across the country and he has had works premiered by The Phoenix Symphony and at Carnegie Hall.
